The general surgery program aims to save the lives of patients who suffer from various medical conditions and need urgent medical and surgical intervention but cannot afford the costs of surgeries, and here comes the role of the Egyptian Cure Bank Foundation to intervene and provide financial resources that allow the patient to perform surgery as soon as possible in order to preserve his life. The Egyptian Cure Bank provides the most appropriate and fastest medical service to the eligible patient by contracting with a wide network of medical service providers in all governorates of Egypt, allowing the patient to perform surgery in his governorate or the governorate closest to him to relieve him of the pain of the disease and the burden of traveling to a further governorate.

The various surgical program includes a wide range of surgeries ranging from simple to medium operations to major operations that require advanced medical equipment.

- Number of general surgeries: more than 5,879 operations.
- Number of eligible patients: more than 5,450 patients.

The cost of different surgeries varies depending on the specialty and also according to the severity of the pathological condition:

- Minor and moderate surgeries: ranging from EGP 2,000 to less than EGP 50,000
Major surgeries: ranging from 50k EGP to 300k EGP.

- The necessary medical examinations before the operation.
- Remuneration of doctors and medical staff.
- Medicines and medical supplies.
