Cardiac deformities repair "Kids"
The Egyptian Cure Bank offers the Cardiac Defect Repair Program for Children, a humanitarian initiative that aims to provide the necessary treatment for children with congenital heart defects, to ensure a healthier and safer future for them.
This program is one of the most important initiatives of the Egyptian Cure Bank, due to its vital role in:
- Saving children's lives from the risks of serious heart defects.
- Improve their quality of life and enable them to live healthy.
- Reduce the burden on families by providing treatment free of charge or at a reduced cost.
Every year, 30,000 babies are born with congenital heart defects, some of whom need plugs, arterial connections and pulmonary valves, which cost between EGP 27,000 and EGP 475,000. The program contributes to the provision of these medical interventions, helping children lead normal and healthy lives.
Program Objectives:
- Saving children's lives from the risk of serious cardiac malformations that may lead to death if not treated.
- Improving the quality of life of children by enabling them to live healthy and lead a normal life.
- Reducing the burden on families by providing treatment free of charge or at a reduced cost, which relieves financial and psychological pressures on them.
